On page 72, in the bottom left-hand panel, instead of "With the EXPECTION..." it should be "With the EXCEPTION..."
ReplyDeleteOn page 77, on the second-to-last panel on the bottom (going from right-to-left), instead of "Nobody KNOWS if I was dead or alive..." it should be "Nobody KNEW if I was dead or alive..."
On page 80, in the middle-center panel, the word "'till" should have an apostrophe.
Also, are we referring to Blue (female) as Green or Blue? If Blue, then you referred to her as Green, and if not, don't worry about it :P.

Both 153 and 159 didn't pass. SoaringSomeone, your font sizes might be slightly too big, and there's one or two zigzag bubbles that aren't Bold Italic.
ReplyDeleteChern...I have no idea what's wrong. I think it might just be GIMP. For example, look at the space between the 'i' and 'f' or some of the "if"s. The line spacing looks weird from page 73 to page 75. Lastly, I don't see Bold Italics for zigzag bubbles.
I would recommend redoing it in Photoshop. Nevertheless, I'll be willing to overlook the typographical weirdness if you just corrected the Bold Italics. Keep trying.
Sorry for taking so long to reply. Volume 9 is effectively ready. Both people I assigned 113 to hasn't responded, so now it goes to Simon, and if he fails, it's open to the first person who responds.
Err… I kind of have to finish editing my college app essays, so I won't start the three chapters in 13 until December.

Nice job (in my opinion), but let's take a look at some errors:
ReplyDeleteThere are three errors on page 160. The first is in the middle of the page, where you forgot the 's' after the apostrophe in "That's right!" The second is a misspelling of "windows" as "windoes" in the lower right panel. The last is in the lower left panel, where "throught" was used instead of "through."
There's one error on page 166. In the lower right panel, Falkner is erroneously saying "abot" instead of "about."
There's another error on page 171, where Gold says "We're to late!" instead of the correct "We're too late!"
The final error is on page 173. In the lower right panel, Chris says "...the enemy definitely neede..." instead of the correct "...the enemy definitely needed..."

@Tropicon: You're Chern, I assume? I would prefer if Bold Italic is applied for all shouting to be consistent with all other releases. That's the only reason 161 wasn't accepted.
